1. IT'S FRIDAY!!! It has been so busy and hectic this week at work, and I am so grateful for the weekend.
2. The retirement luncheon I helped plan for a co-worker went off without a hitch today. Everyone in our department showed up, which made her feel really good.
3. Enchiladas, rice, beans, cheese dip, chips & salsa catered for our luncheon.

1. receiving an email from a GiST friend (thanks Phil for thinking about me) that gave me the desire to come back to GiST after being away for quite awhile.
2. finally having a little bit of peace after the violent death of our nephew
3. the refreshing cleansing of a heavy rain today
4. my CCD students actually paying attention and participating in class
5. the unconditional love of my wonderful husband

I wasn't sure how to do this, so I'll follow the lead of Ms. Philly. I have been missing in action too since the end of August. I was so deep in mourning the loss of my chocolate lab, Levi that I became very depressed, and had a hard time seeing any graces or wanting to admit them. The week of Labor day, I went on a trip to Pennsylvania with my in-laws. We had a wonderful time and stayed in Lancaster county, in the Amish area. 1. making it to work a few minutes early. I'm usually sliding in right on time or running a few minutes late.
2. having a pretty smooth, easy day for a Monday.
3. receiving a beautiful sympathy card and dog angel pin from the vet.
4. alone time with little James. Hubby had a late meeting.

I know, it's been quite awhile since I've posted. I guess when things get really rough, I can't keep up, or can't see clearly enough to recognize any graces. The last time I posted was before my spiritual retreat last weekend. I was very excited and anxious to go because I knew it would be wonderful and was exactly what I needed.
