1. While the world swirls and dips around me, there are some things that stay the same
2. Like lunch alone on Granville Island to still myself
3. A new crop of unsteady, frizzy little ducklings that appear on the duck pond every year
4. And comfort in knowing that someone is going through it all alongside me
5. These things make up a centre when everything else tumbles
